Heather T. Daiza practices general civil litigation, representing both public and private entities, specializing in business and tort litigation in a wide variety of fields, including complex commercial liability, premises liability, construction defect, and employment matters. Prior to joining Daley & Heft, Ms. Daiza worked at an insurance and business litigation firm. Ms. Daiza’s goal when representing clients is to exceed their expectations, which she believes requires many qualities, including efficiency, attention to detail, and adhering to the highest standards of excellence.
Ms. Daiza received her J.D., cum laude, from California Western School of Law, with a Business Law and Practice Concentration with honors, where she earned six American Jurisprudence awards for academic excellence, including in legal research, negotiations, and legal writing/ethics. Ms. Daiza served as a writer and editor for the California Western Law Review, and published an article in the California Western Law Review Journal, where she analyzed the efficacy of online consumer contracts. Ms. Daiza also served as an Intern at California Western School of Law’s Trademark Clinic, where she was licensed to practice in front of the United States Patent and Trademark Office during her internship.
Ms. Daiza is a San Diego native. She graduated from University of California, Irvine, with a B.A. in Political Science, and a Minor in Philosophy.
